Majer Indonesia Bajawa Forest Washed Coffee originates from the pristine volcanic lands of the island of Flores, in the heart of Indonesia. This Arabica coffee is grown at altitudes between 1,200 and 1,400 meters in an area surrounded by the Inerije, Wolobobo, and Ebulobo volcanoes, on mineral- and nutrient-rich soils that promote natural and healthy plant growth.

Cultivation takes place within protected forests, following the local traditions of the tanah adat, the ancestral lands, and is managed by local communities united under the JYN Group Indonesia collective. Here, the coffee grows in a near-wild state, in harmony with the environment and with full respect for the land.

The region’s unique climatic and geographic conditions, combined with washed processing, result in an elegant, clean, and well-balanced coffee. In the cup, it is silky and floral, with fresh notes of lychee, white flowers, and jasmine, complemented by a delicate hint of plum and a smooth chocolate finish. The acidity is light and harmonious, the body velvety, and the overall experience refined and pleasurable. Its intense aroma and natural sweetness evoke the pristine origin of this coffee, an authentic expression of a generous volcanic land.

Bajawa Forest Coffee from Flores is a Specialty Coffee that brings together tradition, terroir, and quality—ideal for those seeking a clean, floral cup of great elegance.
