The southern coast of the island of Cuba is the most suitable area for coffee cultivation, thanks to its humid climate and rich, flat soil. From the very beginning, the regions traditionally dedicated to coffee plantations have been the Sierra del Mayarín, Sierra de Guantánamo, and Sierra Cristal, where coffee is still grown today, although the majority of production now comes from the Sierra Maestra mountain range.

One of the most famous plantations in Cuba is La Isabelica Coffee Estate, located at 1,150 meters above sea level and a particularly evocative place to visit. Known locally simply as "cafecito", Cuban coffee encapsulates in a single cup all the flavors and aromas of the land from which it originates. The surprising body of the Cuban Arabica blend also features an intense tobacco aroma and an aftertaste of caramel, hazelnut, and cocoa.

Majer Cuba Serrano Lavado Coffee is made from Arabica-quality coffee grown in the highlands of Cuba – La Isla Grande.

The regional climate is ideal for coffee cultivation, influenced by the humid oceanic air of the Caribbean archipelago. This coffee is characterized by an aroma with an intense tobacco flavor, complemented by notes of caramel, hazelnut, and cocoa.
